FarmAssistance Terms of Service

The service

FarmAssistance is a farm management tool: fields, crops, livestock, tasks, inventory, equipment, and finances, plus pesticide/product authorization lookups sourced from government registries (ONSSA, EPA, PMRA, E-Phy, Ctgb, Agrofit, APVMA), weather and satellite field-health data, and team collaboration. The service is free to use — the mobile app is supported by ads (Google AdMob). There are no in-app purchases and no paid subscription tier today.

Your account

• You need an account (name, email, password) to use the app.
• You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when registering.
• You can delete your account at any time from the app's Settings — this permanently deletes your account and every farm you own.

Farm teams and shared data

If you invite someone to your farm as a team member, you are choosing to share that farm's data with them for as long as their access lasts. You're responsible for who you invite and what role you give them. Removing a team member's access is available at any time from the app.

Regulatory data is informational, not professional advice

Pesticide/product authorization results shown in the app are sourced from official government registries and dated at the time they were last checked. Regulations change and data sources are periodically refreshed — always verify against the current official registry before applying any product, and consult a qualified agronomist or regulator for decisions with legal or safety consequences. FarmAssistance is not a substitute for professional agronomic, legal, or regulatory advice, and we are not liable for decisions made based on information in the app.

Computed and estimated figures

Field Health Scores, priority recommendations, financial analytics, and similar computed figures in the app are estimates derived from the data you enter and third-party sources (weather, satellite imagery) — they are calculations, not official facts, and are clearly labeled as such in the app.

Acceptable use

• Don't use the service for anything illegal, or in a way that disrupts it for other users.
• Don't attempt to access another user's account or farm data without authorization.
• Don't scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell the service or the regulatory data it surfaces beyond your own farm use.

Service availability

We aim to keep the service available and your data intact, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted uptime. Your farm data lives locally on your device as well as on our server, so day-to-day use of the mobile app continues to work offline even during a server outage.

Advertising

The mobile app shows ads through Google AdMob, governed by Google's own terms and privacy policy. See our Privacy Policy for what that involves.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "Last updated" date.
